Roaster specifics
With both of these roasters humming along, I can manage about 5 pounds per hour.
These two units have been in use for ~3 years, averaging 15+ pounds per week, with no breakdowns whatsoever. Some sessions, i.e. holiday roasting, have gone 5 hours non-stop.
The roaster in action. The spoon is used to pull samples, so I can get a few cups at various levels from one roast. The sticks are used to prop open the spacer chute.
